MAN - God's Messangers

  1. What message has God given His people?

Matthew 5:14-16 | “You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.

  1. How can your good deeds point others to Jesus?
  2. When you do good things and people thank or compliment you, how can you give that glory to God?

Matthew 28:19-20 |
Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

  1. How is a disciple made?
  2. Are you making disciples by telling others about Jesus? Why or why not? Who have you told? Who do you need to tell?
  3. After people make Jesus Lord, they still need to be discipled so they know how to live for God. What believers are you discipling? In what ways?
  4. Are you being discipled - growing in what it means to follow God? By who? When?
  5. With all that you’ve learned this week about man’s purpose, are you living out your God-given purpose? In what ways or why not?
